Family in Toulouse

Posted by Gill under: 2008 Travels .

We are currently enjoying time in Toulouse with Mark’s cousin Ian, his wife Christine and their sons Jeremie, Stephen, Samuel, Faitala, and Peter. We drove here yesterday stopping to pick up Samuel from Bedarieux where he works at a guitar factory (producing high quality and expensive instruments).

It is nice to be in the city again after all the medieval villages and we are enjoying the musical entertainment as the boys play their instruments together regularly. Jeremie and Stephan have a band called Lady Distortion see www.myspace.com/ladydistortion

The weather has been markedly cooler but apart from a skiffle or two of rain it is all fine.

Well – no domestics regarding the driving or the navigation!! This is very commendable and an example to all. Or has the wine and the food and the wonderful cruisin’ lifestyle taken the edge off the emotions……?!!! who cares?- keep on making the most of every day and experience. We are keeping everything running here in NZ although the election campaigns are kicking off…

The Lady GPS has copped most of the flak- she has a mind of her own!
Hope the Campaign Manager has his ducks in a row – will be making up for lost time on return!

On your arrival back in Auckland would the Lady please report directly to the import tax counter. Due to a tip off we understand you will be importing an excessive number of new women’s fashion items. Our friendly representitive will be pleased to tax such outrageous consumerism. The Gentleman will be provided with a seat and counselling by victim support.

This message must be in the wrong inbox. No unusual activity has been undertaken by the Lady that would cause any concern.

It certainly wouldn’t be unusual!
