End of Trafalgar Tour – Back to London

Our last tour evening finished with a great night at the cabaret in Paris – then another early morning start back to London. No stops on the way to the ferry at Calais as there had been a fire in the chunnel and therefore more ferry traffic expected. Also raining and the Pope heading to Paris as well and everyone wanting to see him! All went well on the trip across the channel and we got back to London about 5pm. The drive through Kent was uneventful – all rather tired and winding down.

The bus trip has been a great way to see the big cities, beat the queues, have your bags carried and enjoy everything being organised for you. Have had a super group of travellers too but won’t miss the early wake up calls!

Great to catch up with Simon (Hill) and Jess for drinks at our hotel last night – I worked with Simon at MoE – they are doing the big OE – settled into jobs, having a great time, and planning a busy time doing the sightseeing thing around Europe. Simon’s joined a football team – first game this week!
Now on the express train to Gatwick en route to a week of relaxation in Malta with Matt and Kat.
